Quick Checklist (What to Bring, Mags/Ammo)

  • Bring all magazines you use for proper diagnostics (a good tip is to number your magazines to determine if a specific one is the problem).
  • Bring the specific type of ammunition you are using or will use when you set up your service appointment. Practice, duty, competition, and hunting rounds differ in quality and function capabilities.
  • Bring all accessories you want installed that will be mounted, added, or used on the weapon system and may change or alter it. This includes lights, optics, mounts, suppressors, adapters, and sights.
  • Warning: DO NOT bring loaded firearms in for service. All weapons must be unloaded and cased. If a firearm is loaded with a misfired, unfired, or stuck round/casing and that is the reason for service, YOU MUST notify us before bringing it to the shop. Accidental discharges are not accidents; they are negligence. Any undisclosed loaded weapon that discharges will incur an additional $200 fee plus insurance deductible cost. Firearms safety is our FIRST priority.
  • Note: We use only factory ammunition for testing. We will not test fire hand loads or reloads due to safety and insurance liability. There is an additional charge for test firing with our factory ammunition.

Timeline: Service Turnaround Time

We try to address each system as quickly as possible. During off-peak times, we can generally have the weapon ready in about two weeks, depending on what is needed. During peak hunting, trap, or competition times, wait times may be longer. Emergency fixes for L.E. and special operations groups always take priority. It is best to have the weapon system diagnosed and fixed well before your next mission. Difficult fixes or older weapons may require additional time to locate, order, ship, or manufacture specialty parts.

Warranty/Limits: Service Guarantee & Policies

We are up front on all repairs and try to provide a reasonable cost estimate from the start. After diagnosis, we can usually pinpoint the issue and provide a detailed estimate. However, if during tear down we find parts are unavailable, there is further undetected damage, parts must be manufactured, extra time is needed to locate and order parts, or the system is no longer serviceable, we will notify the customer immediately. We check with manufacturers for any applicable recalls and notify you of that option. All work carries a 90-day warranty for factory-level functioning from the date of return to the client.
